Structure of Files

The downloaded template file contains several directories. Let's examine the contents of each subdirectory in more detail:

  • theme -includes WordPress theme assets
  • "industrial-services-pro" -All of the files needed for the theme are contained in this folder.
  • "license.txt" -includes licence information.
  • "readme.txt" This file contains details about the theme's images, usage script, and font.

My site used to work fine before. How were the file permissions changed?

WordPress may be unable to make folders, upload images, or execute scripts if the file permissions are incorrectly set.

WordPress requires authorization to manage files and make folders on the server.

  • Select File Permissions from the context menu when you right-click on any folder in the main directory.
    1. Go to wp-config
    2. Now we'll look at the permissions dialogue window.
    3. tick the check box read and write
    4. To proceed, press the OK button.
  • Follow the same procedures for the wp-content subdirectory.

Template Installation

Installing a template is a straightforward process.

The installation can be done through the WordPress interface. As a consequence, the process is more comfortable and faster.

Two installation techniques are available.

1. Use WordPress Admin to install a theme.

First, access WordPress admin dashboard and log in.

1. Click on Appearance >> Themes

Click the "Add New" button at the top of the themes page once you are there.

3. Click the upload icon to add the theme.

4. Select your industrial-services-pro zip file and hit Install now after clicking Browse.


5.WordPress will show a message of success and a link to activate or watch the live preview after your theme has been installed.

2-Installing a theme via FTP

The second method is to apply a theme via FTP. Use FTP to access your website, then go to the wp-content/themes subdirectory. You must unzip the downloaded theme and submit only the extracted Total folder.

Log in to your WordPress site and proceed to Settings > Plugins > Activation. Appearance >> Themes .

Install the plugin.

You can manually install a WordPress plugin from a.zip package by following the steps for uploading a plugin.

To upload a plugin, Access the Dashboard >> plugin >> Add New >> Upload plugin.

click the "install now" button to activate.

Setting up the theme


Import material using these steps.

1) click Dashboard >> Appearance >> Get Started

To start, click on "Start Now".

2) Press the Install Plugins button.

3) Then click the button to start importing the demo.

4) Enter your licence key and click on Activate.


5) Click Next after the licence key has been made active.

6) Press the Start Now button.

7) Press the Install Plugins button.

8) Click on Import Demo to import a demo.

9) Next, select Visit Site.



Setup Homepage Template

Configure the Template for the Home Page

Here are the steps for creating a home page.

  • 1. To establish a template: Visit Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New Page.

    You can call it "home" or whatever you want. "Home-page" can be chosen from the design dropdown.

  • 2. To set the front page: Visit the Setting >> Reading >> Front Page Display Static Page menu Decide which page should be displayed as the front page.

    • The top page will display the complete demo collection once you're done.

Add a New Post

Click Dashboard >> Team >> Add New

The steps above can be repeated to make posts about services, projects, and reviews.
